May 3rd - the racing went ahead after a couple of weeks of disappointment. We had 4 multihulls and 9 slow handicap dinghies racing. The wind blew and the rain poured, but 12 boats succeeded in finishing the race. The race was the last and only race in the series. Congratulations to Tim O'Leary who won the Early Spring Series for the Slow Handicap and Andy & Mark Robinson who won the series for the Multihulls.

We are grateful to Atlantic Rigging, who is our latest sponsor for the Wednesday night series. Mike has kindly offered a massive 50% off dinghy Dyneema to FFSC Wednesday night competitors. There is limited stock so call Mike to order yours on 01394 610324 (www.atlanticrigging.co.uk)

Suffolk Sails have sponsored us once again, with two large kit bags containing various goodies.

Friday 11th May Coast Watch Talk with Curry Supper

Sunday 13th is the next meeting for volunteers for the RNLI/FFSC Fund Raising Weekend 23/24th June. We will be meeting in the Bar at 12.00 noon - come and join us if you can. We need your ideas and your support. We also need lots of tombola and raffle prizes - all contributions will be welcome.
