Last Friday night it was Fish & Chip night, which was very popular, as always.

20th & 21st AUGUST 2011
Briefing at 1130 Saturday 20th.
Race 1 Warning Signal 1255 hrs Sat 20th August followed by races 2 & 3 back to back.
Saturday evening meal at club at 1930 hrs included in entry fee for Helm and Crew.
Extra meal tickets can be purchased by friends and family before 1200 on 20th August.
Entertainment in club house after meal on Saturday evening.
Race 4 Warning Signal 1025 hrs Sunday 21st August followed by races 5 & 6 back to back.
Entry Fee £45
Plenty of camping space next to sailing club, £5 a tent/ night.
Motor homes can also be catered for with prior notice, £5 per van/ night.
Bring the family for the weekend, camping/vans from Friday evening.

A new weather station has now been installed and is available on this website and on the monitor in the club. The console will be installed shortly.

RNLI Weekend - Update
Following our meeting for the RNLI weekend of 4th and 5th June 2011
Ann White is collecting Tombola Prizes for the event,
bottles, tins and something for the children
Please pass to Ann or leave them in the club for her to collect
We have had a volunteer to man the sponsored row (on the rowing machines)
but need others to help

Weather station anenometer misreading
The anenometer appears to have stiffened up over the winter - now needing a very windy day before there is any reading at all. The webmaster hopes to get this sorted sometime in the next few weeks.

Ferry Fiver Draw
A weekly draw will be taking place on Friday nights at 9:30pm, when, if the member drawn is present, they will win a sum of £5 which, if not won, will accumulate weekly until the final week when £100 is the prize.
WiFi passphrase (aka WEP Key) changed
The club Wifi passphrase (aka WEP Key) has been changed so that it's shorter and much easier to remember. Mary has details behind the bar.
