Breakfast will also be available both mornings. With the Saturday evening meal able to be booked in advance.
There will be two fleets:
Catamarans (F18, Dart 18, Dart 16, Sprint 15 etc)
Monohulls (RS 400, Laser 2000 Laser, Firefly etc).
Racing will take the form of a trapezoid course scored with average lap times with 3-4 races per day. Results for events (Dart 16 National Championships) will be extracted from the overall results. Where numbers are sufficient for any one class an additional start may be added. A proficient level of sailing is expected. There will be no training or assistance on the water.
Please be aware that there is limited space at the ferry for parking, trailer storage, boat storage. Please enter at the first car park entrance and unhitch your boat. Please then park across the road.
Please also be aware that we will be launching from the steep shingle beach and slipway outside the club. We aim to have a working party to get boats up and down. The public slipway is not to be used as there is no safety cover in this area and risk of being swept into, over or under the jetty.
Camping is available on the Millennium Green just across the road from the club. This is not our land and is charged at £5 per tent. There is limited space for mobile homes on club grounds and this must be booked in advance – sailing@ffsc.co.uk
