To all Squib sailors!
We are reforming a fleet at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club, aimed at providing easy and direct access to sailing at sea for club members.
Currently, we have 2 series consisting of 4 races each– the Smith Cup and Haven Series, lined up for this year’s season with a possibility of a third in the autumn. These will take place every other Sunday with scrubbing sessions in between. Transport will be provided to and from your squib on race days, all dates & race info are available on the Club Calendar.
To ensure hulls are regularly cleaned, the club tractor and Squib launching trolley are available to haul boats out every fortnight for a scrubbing session. Please contact sailing@ffsc.co.uk if you require a mooring for your Squib.
Last season we held the Squib Eastern Area Championships at FFSC, those who attended will remember what a great weekend it was, and to sit in the Clubhouse afterwards with good meals and a well stocked bar made it even better!
