FFSC holds its second catamaran open meeting including the following events:
- Dart 16 National Championships
- UKCRA Junior Championships
- F18 TT
- Shearwater TT
- Catapult TT
Entry is £60 for double handers and £45 for single handers. This includes a two course evening meal on Saturday evening. Additional meal tickets can be booked at registration. Breakfast will also be available both mornings.
There will be two fleets; fast (F18, Spitfire, Nacra 15, Shearwater) and slow (Dart 18, Dart 16, Sprint 15, Catapult) handicap. Racing will take the form of a trapezoid course with inner and outer loop. Results for events will be extracted from the overall results. Due to tides the first start is scheduled after lunch on Saturday.
Please be aware that there is limited space at the ferry for parking, trailer storage, boat storage. Please enter at the first car park entrance and unhitch your boat. Please then park across the road.
Please also be aware that we will be launching from the steep shingle beach and slipway outside the club. We aim to have a working party to get boats up and down. The public slipway is not to be used as there is no safety cover in this area and risk of being swept into, over or under the jetty.
For those competing in the UKCRA Junior Championships a proficient level of sailing is expected. There will be no training or assistance on the water.
Camping is available on the Millennium Green just across the road from the club. This is not our land and is charged at £5 per tent. There is limited space for mobile homes on club grounds and this must be booked in advance – firstname.lastname@example.org
