Racing at FFSC takes place on Wednesday evenings and there is a monthly series of mini regattas held on Saturday afternoons. There are several special events during the season as well including long distance and pursuit races. The slow handicap is made up of monohulls including but not limited to Laser Ones, Laser 2000s, OKs, B14s. The Multihull fleet is made up of Dart 18s, Sprint 15s, Spitfires and F18s. All of our fleets are friendly and expanding with an enthusiastic core of regular sailors.
Wednesday evening racing runs from April until September, starting and finishing on the club line with a course at sea whenever possible. Saturday racing consists of a series of 3 – 4 short races.
Racing is free for all club members. Temporary membership is available for visiting sailors bringing their own boats. The club has two Lasers, one Laser 2000 and four Dart 16 catamarans which are available for rental. Results are posted on Sailwave and can be found in the results section.
