Weekend Trophy Race (postponed from 2 October)
The last Club race this year (next: New Year’s Day 2022)
This is an afternoon Pursuit Race, after lunch (Club Café open for snacks and specials) and Youth Sailing in the morning.
Tide will be slack low water and there is youth sailing in the morning, so there will be two Pursuit Races on offer, both with class starts soon after 14:00.
For Youths and less confident sailors, one race will run for 45 minutes finishing around 14:45. Being a pursuit race in slack water sailors will not have to contend with a mass start (class starts counted down from the shore) or a strong tide current.
The second hour and a quarter pursuit race will run alongside the short race, but it will finish around 15:15. This race may be run shorter if conditions are not good.
