Due to current government restrictions the club will not be running the event on July 24/25/26th as intended. This is due to restrictions affecting not only the sailors but also that of all volunteers both on and off the water. It takes a lot of effort to organise these events and they need to be enjoyable for sailors of all abilities and all the volunteers involved. This will not be possible in July.
It is our intention to run the event in its full unrestricted form on a later date which is yet to be confirmed. This is hoped to be September 26th/27th however we are well aware that Weston SC have their open a week before and Brightlingsea SC have theirs a week after. Three weekends on the trot may well be unfeasible for some sailors and we are waiting to hear back from both clubs to see if their events will run.
