Cat Open – Cancelled

It is with regret that the organising team has agreed that it is no longer in the interest of the competitors, class associations or the club to continue. This event has taken an enormous amount of effort to organise and it is unfortunate that we have overcome the covid mitigation activities only to be beaten by the weather.

Message from Club Directors

The Club Directors continue to meet on a regular basis to monitor the unprecedented situation that the Club is currently experiencing. We recognise the inevitability of a divergence of views as to how best to deal with issues arising from the present restrictions.
However we would strongly urge that this is a time when the members, as a whole, pull together so that ultimately this Club can emerge as an even stronger organisation

Message from General Committee

We know that this year has been extremely difficult for many of you. However, we thought we would give you a few of the positive things that we have acheived so far.

1. We had a great number of volunteers helping to get various long overdue things done in the clubhouse. Stll work in progress but all good.
2. Sailing proved to work really well with the Wednesday night racing , Sailing in Company and a race training session.
3. We managed to re-open the Training centre and have sold quite a few 1:1 sailing and power boat courses.
4. Youth sailing have managed to take a number of young people sailing every Saturday. Albeit those that are more experienced sailors.

Your General committee have been working tirelessly throughout the year to ensure you can enjoy the club as whole. We have many exciting ideas to be actioned for next year too. So watch this space for more information.
