Powerboat Rides & Try Sailing with Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club – Monday 27th August 2018

Monday the 27th of August was the final day of Ferry Fest and despite the weather was a fantastic day on the water. Powerboat rides kicked off at 10am  and almost 100 people experienced the thrill of  riding at speed in the clubs two powerboats. Even the Mayor of Felixstowe went out!

Sailing tasters kicked off at 2pm with three Wayfarers and three Dart 16 catamarans on the water. We ran 32 sessions afloat with over 45 visitors going afloat.

A big thanks to all those who helped out. The next Try Sailing session will be in April next year however we will be running half day sailing tasters through the Training Centre. Please contact training@ffsc.co.uk to get involved.

 

2018 Yachting Season
